2 things it takes to get to where you want to be

 

Get up

Ok, there is something you want to do, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this. Maybe you have  desire to run a 5k or you want to learn how to prune an apple tree, it could be anything.  SO, get up.  That’s it, that’s the first step. The next step is to keep moving and it takes Hustle and Muscle to maintain the momentum and get to where you want to be.

 

Hustle

  1. Speed.  There’s nothing quite like moving fast towards a goal.  So, move fast. Never dilly dally, set small goals and race to each one.

  2. Intensity.  Move with a purpose.  Don’t just move busy, but move intently. Know what you’re doing and why. Get at it and get it done.

  3. Focus.  Set a timer for 10 minutes and GO!  Do nothing in those ten minutes except what you decided to work on.

 

Muscle

  1. Work hard.  (That’s all there is to it).

  2. Be consistent.  Come back to working towards your goal again and again without fail.  It’s what you do now.  You strive for that end result.  

  3. Show up. If you plan something with someone, or even just yourself, show up.  Be where you’re supposed to be.  If you plan on going to the gym five times this week, do it. Every day you need to “get up” and take that first step.  Finishing what you start will pay off in so many ways, it might just blow your mind.  

 

Apply the Hustle and Muscle mentality to the things in life that you only want to get done.  Don’t apply it to the spouse or at the PTA meeting.
