Fail Fast. Fail often.
We shoot ourselves in the foot every day and we don't know it. "Take it easy." "There's still 3 rounds left." "Pace yourself." We don't hear it, but it's ingrained the way we think. And for good reason. It's smart. Everything today is go go go and we can't possibly sprint all day every day. So, we pace ourselves. We're smart about it. The only problem is, not everything works that way.
Whenever I train anyone, I bring up the point to fail fast, and fail often. Because it's only when we flirt with our limits that we adapt.
Adaptation = Growth
Fail fast. Fail often. Push it.
